Master Wang Zhan-hai (王占海) is an international Taijiquan Champion and 12th Generation Master from the Chen Village. He is the oldest son of Grandmaster Wang Xi’an (王西安), one of the leading Chen-style Taijiquan lineage holders who is known as one of the ‘Four Guardian Warriors’ of the Chen Village.
At age 16, Master Wang won his first Taijiquan push hands championship and proceeded to build a 10-year undefeated career in Chinese and international combat-oriented Taijiquan competitions, earning him the nickname of the ‘Unbeatable Warrior.’
In his 25+ year teaching career, Master Wang’s disciples have included numerous Chinese celebrities, corporate sector leaders, as well as Taiji Zen co-founder Jack Ma.
In 2011, Master Wang joined Taiji Zen as its Director of Taijiquan Development. Through Taiji Zen, he hopes to modernize and re-invigorate the Taijiquan industry, and attract more youth across the world to the beauty of traditional Taiji culture.
